What are VOLUME lashes?
Volume lashes use a technique where your artist creates handmade fans of multiple ultra-fine extensions and applies each fan to a single natural lash. The result is a fuller lash line with more coverage, texture, and dimension than classic extensions.
At JT Beauty Parlour, we offer three volume density levels — 3D, Deluxe, and Mega — so you can choose exactly how full you want to go. All three use the same high-quality vegan adhesives and are applied by our experienced artists.

Fans of 2–3 ultra-fine extensions per natural lash. The lightest volume option — adds noticeable fullness while still looking natural and effortless. Ideal if you want more than classic but don't want a dramatic look.

Deluxe Volume — Fuller and Fluffier

Mega Volume (Russian Volume) — Maximum Density
Fans of 6–16 ultra-fine extensions (0.03–0.05mm diameter) per natural lash. Also known as Russian volume, this is our most dramatic lash style — delivering maximum density, dark lash lines, and editorial-level fullness.
Despite the higher fan count, mega volume uses ultra-thin fibers so the overall weight remains comfortable. This is our most advanced technique, performed exclusively by senior artists.

What to expect during your volume lash appointment
Your appointment starts with a consultation where your artist discusses your desired look and recommends the right volume level for your natural lashes.

Cleansing and preparation (5 min)
Volume fan application — lash by lash (100–140 min depending on level)
Final check and aftercare walkthrough (5 min)
You'll lie comfortably with your eyes closed the entire time. Most clients find it relaxing — some even fall asleep. Our East Vancouver studio at 1726 Kingsway is a short walk from Nanaimo SkyTrain.
Volume lashes vs classic lashes
Choose volume if you want fullness, density, and a more dramatic lash line. Volume fans add coverage that classic simply can't match — especially for clients with naturally sparse lashes.

Volume lash aftercare tips
Avoid water for 24 hours after your appointment — let the adhesive fully cure.
Clean your lashes daily with a gentle, oil-free lash cleanser and a soft spoolie.
Don't use oil-based products near your eyes — oil breaks down adhesive.
Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction on fans.
Book fills every 2–3 weeks — 3D fills can stretch to 3 weeks, mega volume is best at 2 weeks.
